Japanese Straight is a unique Hair Straightening System from Japan which permanently straightens ALL HAIR TYPES and CONDITIONS. The Japanese Hair Straightening technology works best even for the most difficult hair type & and condition.
How do I maintain my hair after having Japanese Straight? How often should I visit the salon after the treatment?
Like other major hair treatments, after a Japanese straight, hair should be maintained with treatments like hot oil, hair spa, and protein or hair masks to prevent it from becoming dry and frizzy. Some take home products, which are available for sale at any of our salons, so that you can still maintain a healthy hair at home, without the high cost of going to the salon.
How soon can I have new growths done?
You may have your regrowth done as early as 2 months after your last Japanese straight, where it is visibly long enough for the iron plates to reach.
Why is Japanese Straight better than Rebonding?
Japanese straight is better than rebonding because it is the only permanent straightening procedure that allows styling versatility even after the treatment. Hair can still be braided, curled temporarily without chemicals, or up-styled without leaving any permanent marks. This is the only treatment that allows permanent hair coloring on a SAME DAY procedure, which means you can cover grey hair, lift your hair color from black to light brown permanently, without the damage. Rebonding only allows cellophane or semi-permanent washable hair coloring as their same day hair coloring procedure. With Japanese Straight, you get 8 complete treatments in one procedure while with rebonding, you may only get 3 treatments. These 8 treatments ensure the safety of the procedure to any type & condition of any hair, before and after the straightening process.
What is the difference between Japanese straight and an ordinary chemical relaxer / straightener?
Japanese straight is a permanent hair straightening system that leaves hair looking and feeling soft, silky, shiny, and healthier looking hair while an ordinary chemical relaxing /straightening is a temporary, corrosive, and unsafe way of straightening one’s hair. With Japanese straight, hair is straightened safely & permanently at the innermost structures. An ordinary relaxer / straightener may damage your scalp and leave the hair dry and brittle, and the curls come back after a short period of time.
How much does it cost?
A regular Japanese Hair Straightening session is priced at P1,500 / any length, any thickness, and any condition. Additional P500.00 is charged for a permanent color treatment
After having my hair treated with rebonding / ordinary relaxing, how soon can I have my hair treated with Japanese Straight?
Usually, it takes about 6 months interval before your hair can take up another major treatment after a rebonding, hair coloring, perming, or relaxing. But, with Japanese Straight you may no longer wait for 6 long months. Hair previously treated with rebonding, coloring, relaxing can now undergo Japanese Permanent hair straightening in as short as 2 weeks or even less. Amazingly, it can even reverse a digitally permed hair a day after without causing any damage.
How long does one full session last?
It may take about 4 hours up to 12 hours, depending on your hair type and condition. You may opt to come earlier in the morning on weekdays where there are less clients or set an appointment at any of our branches. Home servicing is also available but a service charge is added, depending on your location.
